1 Early photos of the Henschel 2-8-2s in service.
A Henschel 2-8-2 on a train made up of two Famillereux plataformas with sides and then a long rake of the ex Puerto Belgrano four-wheeled wooden wagons. This could well be during the construction period.

A final picture of a Henschel 2-8-2, with a short rake of one tank wagon (two Puerto Belfgrano tanks mounted on a Famillereux underframe), one 1922 furgon, and two 1922 coaches. The slogan suggests that this was during the Peronist period, ie before 1955, and indeed the two cars are probably of late 1940s vintage.
Nunca ha sido explicado definitivamente el origen de estos vagones. No hemos encontrado ninguna foto más antigua que la de un vagón siendo cargado abordo de un vapor en Bahía Blanca. Empleados viejos de los talleres Bahía Blanca Nor Oeste recuerdan trabajando sobre ellos, notando que ningún dibujo existía ni fue confeccionado tratando de estos vagones. Nos envió Bob Whethan esta vista de un bastidor que lo vio desde la carretera rumbo a Chile cerca de Río Turbio. También una vista de un caja de lubricación. (1)
